Marriage & Divorce
What does God have to say about marriage and divorce? Why has this become such a grey area of an issue? Why are there many even in the Lord’s church who seem to advocate things that God never intended? To answer these questions, we need to go to the source of authority on this and all other matters.
Are You One of the Few?
“‘Lord, will those who are saved be few?’ And He said to them, ‘Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many I tell you will seek to enter and will not be able.’” (Luke 13:23-24)
God Saw and God Knew
“During those many days the king of Egypt died, and the people of Israel groaned because of their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry for rescue from slavery came up to God. And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. God saw the people of Israel—and God knew.” (Exodus 2:23-25)
Right Perspective, Right Response
There has been much talk for a while now about the sin of homosexuality as Americans have fought to change the God given definition of marriage. I want to encourage all of us to live above the world and have both the right perspective and the right response.
